Hello, Niko,
Your website is really cool; I really admire independent and creative thinkers such as yourself. I downloaded the 19 free tracks, and organized them into what I feel is a very strong and cohesive album. I’d like to share my thoughts on the songs, and I’ll list them in the track sequence I’ve chosen.
1) It’s a New Day — Positive, upbeat and catchy. To me, it’s the perfect choice to kick off the CD.
2) Aliesha Smile — Bright, warm track. Pairs nicely with It’s a New Day, I think.
3) The Sun, the Moon, the Stars — Fantastic, fantastic track. My favorite of yours! Amazing melody, poetic lyrics, touching and tender vocal delivery. A natural choice to follow Aliesha Smile.
4) Angel Rising — Very powerful track. Probably my favorite of the instrumentals.
5) Closing Door — Haunting, Spanish-sounding guitar, great melody, reminds me a lot of the Beatles.
6) Kali Spera — Rich, bright instrumental. Continues and elaborates on the Latin-inspired theme of Closing Door.
7) I Found a Friend in You — Upbeat Irish folk melody carries over the positive energy of the previous track.
9) Illusion — Can’t quite pin this one down. Do I detect a Smashing Pumpkins vibe? The ballad sections are good, but to screaming ruins it for me.
10) Please — Straight up Nine Inch Nails rock, complete with distorted vocals. I love this! But why does it have to be so short?
11) The Exodus — Probably the weakest track on the album (and my least favorite), but I’ll still give you an A for effort. The frantic vocalizations at the end of the song are a bit too over the top.
12) Shame — Heavy and haunting, sounds like a cross between George Michael and INXS. In a tie with The Sun, the Moon, the Stars for my favorite song on the CD.
13) Help Me to Feel — Very vulnerable vocal, great falsetto; the saxophone gives it a very film noir jazz club feel. Very cool! I hear a bit of Pink Floyd here, am I right?
14) Put Away the Gun — Different, but in a good way. I love the scratchy, tapped-out vocal because it adds so much to the emotion of the song. A mix of Kurt Cobain and Sarah McLachlan?
15) Love — Beautifully simple and intimate. Is the perfect counterpoint to the previous track.
16) Cadel’s Lullaby — Works perfectly as the second part of a “suite” with Love as part one.
17) Together Forever Whenever — Strikingly beautiful ballad. Would ideally work better as the CD’ s final song, however, I didn’t want to put two instrumentals back-to-back or place the up-tempo track Joy! in the middle of a couple softer songs. This is a great duet; who is your partner? She sounds angelic!
18) Angels — Epic instrumental with great harmonic vocalizations. Technically, this track is meant to close out the album.
19) Joy! — If my track sequence was an actual commercial album, this song would not have an actual track number, but rather it would be a special “hidden” track proceeded by roughly 3 minutes of silence following the fade-out of Angels. I actually stumbled upon this neat idea after struggling to incorporate Joy! into the natural flow of the sequence. Since it’s a techno-dance song, it just wouldn’t fit. But, I think that as a hidden track, it is a nice little surprise that ends the CD on a positive note.
So, that’s my review. I dig your music, and would like to hear more of it in the near future.

Each shovel of soil on the donkey threw him to bury the advantage to finally get in and out of the hole. Moraleja when you have more obstacles in life that do not fall down or bury you, make you stronger and get out of your hole and you get what you offer in this life.
