Journey Withinは聴く者を旅へ連れ出す、遠くしかし非常に近い・・・内なる深いところ、ずっとそこにあった平和なところへと。この音楽がその秘密の場所へ行くことを手助けする。僕にとっては、自身の中で大きくなってしまった騒音を静めることがいつも役立つんだ。その騒音は人生で最も大切なものにあげられる－赦し、道義心、敬意、忍耐、思いやり、信頼、希望、そして愛－を僕がはっきり見たり聞いたりするのを邪魔するから。もし“悪魔”が君を困らせているなら、このアルバムはそれを追い払うだろう。もし君の中に硬くなってしまっている部分があるなら、このアルバムは火に溶けるロウソクのようにそれを溶かすだろう。君を内側から浄化し、清め、元気付けるだろう。このアルバムは間違いなくニューエイジのジャンルに入るけれど、他のジャンルに通ずるエレメントも持ち合わせている。意識をなくさせるために一つの音を散在させたサウンドスケープのアルバムではない。むしろ、あらゆる方向への、想いのこもった旋律の動きに満ちている－海から空へ、魂から精霊へ。内省的、インナーテイニング（自身の魂を楽しませる）音楽。このアルバムは瞑想的思考、自己認識、スピリチュアルな導きの間に位置する。
